If you have one of our CD ROMs and have installed it on your mac, it will not run on macOS 10.15 Catalina or later. If your CD ROM is not working, follow the troubleshooting steps below to update the software:
(Please note that if you have already downloaded our newest player, you can skip to step 6)
- Log in to your account area of our website.
- Click on Download Player.
- Wait for the file to download, then open the folder called Singchronize.dmg.
- When prompted, drag and drop the Singchronize App to the Applications folder.
- If you already had a previous version of the player installed, you will be asked if you want to replace the application. Select Replace.
- Open up Finder and navigate to your Applications folder.
- Select Singchronize then right-click and select copy. (Alternatively select copy from the Edit tab of the menu in the top left-hand corner).
- In a separate Finder window, open up your installed CD ROM folder, then right-click and select paste.
- You will be asked if you want to replace the application, select Replace.
- Double click on the new Singchronize file to launch your updated CD ROM.
- If you have multiple CD ROMs installed, repeat steps 6-10 as needed.
Alternatively, you can use the Download Player or Streaming Player to access all of your Words on Screen™ resources, including those that you have purchased via CD ROM. You can find both players in the My Words on Screen™ Online section of your online account.
